Hi

I know it's quite unusual question but I will give it a try.
I have a 2.5 meter inkjet printer. the printer have 12 print heads, each
print head have 74hc244 octal buffer.
I have some problem with 2 of the colors and I suspect that the 74hc244 is
making a problem while printing, (I have some delays in the print) so I
thought maybe to replace all of them to 74hct244 or other better series
which are faster (according to Philips data).
my question is, can an IC miss a data? or get confused?
I know it's odd but I feel that this is the problem but I am afraid to waist
time and maybe do some damage.
please help if you can.
