I have just come into possession courtesy of my neighbour ,of a
washing machine control board for a NZ/AUS model.

I was surprised on delving into its plastic handbag protector that
the board is not tinned or even conformal coated. So nothing protects
it from the cockroaches or damp that may be found in a laundry,

This ladies machine is only 4 months old and already has died twice.
Just flashing lights and saying the lid is locked when its not.
