I've found when installing Windows on a drive that has multiple partition= s=20 (>=3D1 HD in machine), Windows generally demands to be on the first parti= tion.=20 (No, I'm not even going to try to remember which these were). However, this technique should work, which I learned from multi-booting W= in=20 and Linux. [ And no, I'm not suggesting you install Linux below.... ] There is a great bootloader from the Linux world called grub. It does no= t=20 need to be used with Linux. Using a Linux fdisk utility (from any Linux=20 install disk), create 2 large partitions for the Win's, and another small= =20 ~10mb partition for grub. Make only one partition a Windows-type partiti= on=20 (so Win install ignores the rest). Install Win #1 there. Then make the=20 other a Windows-type partition, and change the first back to something th= at=20 Windows will not recognize.... such as a Linux partition. Obviously don'= t=20 format, and it should not lose anything. Install Win #2 on the second=20 partition. Now, install grub on the 3rd partition and you can create a little menu w= ith=20 it to boot into either of the Win's. Grub is very well documented on the= =20 net, and very simple. For the linux fdisk tool, you can use a simple Lin= ux=20 boot/install disk from Slackware or otherwise. Not sure if you're famili= ar=20 with this, but ping me for more info. Again, I haven't actually tried this exact install, but it works really w= ell=20 in my head. :-) Cheers, -Neil.
