I decided to use the Memsic 2125 to measure tilt after researching some other accelerometers but I have some questions if anyone else is familiar with this product. I am using a ccp pin on a 16F73 to measure the duty cycle of the pwm signal. I am using the formula from the data sheet to calculate the acceleration in g's. A(g) = ((T1/T2) - 0.5) / .2 Here are the values I am reading with the pic: 90deg 0deg 90deg T1 6.2ms 4.94ms 3.72ms T2 9.96ms 9.96ms 9.96ms A(g) .62 ~0 .63 Shouldn't I be reading 1g when the accelerometer is 90 degrees with respect to gravity? Anyone have any ideas why I am not getting this? I am pretty sure I read the formula correctly and I am confused. Thanks __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
