One book - one static author; one PICList - hundreds authors(some grumpy, some not) to communicate dynamically. Better find book and time to get solid academic basics, then scan datasheets, app notes etc. and, of course, ask community about specific issues (in a style Olin described). Try to input to the List. I bet the best way to learn datasheets, app notes and similar docs is to try to help others with their problems(for me this turns to be even more efficient than asking about my own problems). Good luck. Mike. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
