The Dutch version contains a 'circuit' that boils down to the advice to
put a pull-up (or down) resistor on the un-used data lines when an
HD44780 is used in 8-bits mode. IIRC the HD44780 has build-in pull-ups,
so this is utter nonsense. I wonder whether this is the always-present
joke circuit?
