IMHO the circuit elements are bad, I needed Olimex-compliant PCB elements, and I find type-based elements useless, so I made my own library based on number of pins and configuration options, so I have a library with circuit elements [ 8-pin, 14-pin, 18-pin, etc ] - [ Xtal, Extosc, IntOsc ] - [ ext mclr, int -m clr ].
