Which HP6 are you using >(M, MP, L) ? I'm using a LaserJet 6P on WinXP but something really strange seems to be going on. The problem may not be with the printer after all. As I was trying to figure out exactly how far off my print sizes are, I found that my results vary depending on which software package and possibly which computer I use. GC-Prevue and RSI's CAMCAD each measure a 64-pin DIP package at 3.1" from pin 1 to pin 32 in both orientaions. GC-Prevue prints it at 3.05" in the vertical direction and 3.1" in the horizontal. CAMCAD prints the same Gerber file at 3.3" in both directions. I don't think I used to have this problem on my old Win98se box but I can't be 100% sure about that. I need to run some more tests to really nail this thing down. I've got too many symptoms and the relationship between then isn't clear to me yet.
