Well, my $10k Orcad Layout is definitely ready for the scrap heap.
What an unusable mess. Everything you want to do involves "dancing through the minefield" of broken features and undocumented workarounds.

Their schematic capture program is workable, and I like it's ability to work with a parts database, though getting it set up right will drive you insane.
