Next check the memory usage. Both these should be performed at 5 points: #1 when GW is not running and has not been run. #2 when GW is first started. #3 when GW is bogged down. #4 once GW is shut #5 once GW has been restarted. From the above data you should be able to tell if it is a memory leak or a problem somewhere else.
