Have you tried double-sided sticky tape ? You'll get a free wax too !
Or maybe leave it there to hold your pants up

I've found FinePrint does pretty good rendering of 1/2-size print. It
depends a lot on the font of the original of course and how hard you
need to study what's been printed, but for a reference manual I'd have
thought it would be a passable solution. A few seconds on the print
and then a few minutes (ha !!!) on the PIC
