The 18F452 manual (DS39564B) is a puny 5.74MB, and merely
332 pages / 166 sheets = 19mm thick = nails (nicely done though)

Just out of interest, the Midrange Reference Manual (DS33023A) is
688 pages yet is just a 2.64MB pdf. And perfectly readable too. That
implies the 18C RM could be shrunk to 3.75MB. If you use a utility like
FinePrint you could halve the number of sheets needed by printing
two A5 pages per side
