Hows This On thursday at about 4:30PM I order my new GPS reciever antenna etc from Tasmania (Hobart I think). Friday at 7:00AM I'm woken up by a knocking on the front door. Who do I see there but a large bearded fellow with a package in his hands from Tasmania. That was "express posted" at a cost of $10 a distance of several thousand km (No map handy but I'd guess something like 3-4 thousand km?). Full marks to Australia Post!. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Davidson" To: Sent: Friday, June 13, 2003 10:11 AM Subject: Re: [OT] House "names" (Was: Re: [EE]: My first PCB) > > Mail here has been getting worse, the latest carrier we had > delivered > >more > >INCORRECT mail then correct mail, and you're right, they don't even bother > >coming to the door with your package anymore.
