Judging by the Zehrs that I go to here (groceries), they DO relate SKUs and weight. I have however been able to scan a box of cereal and throw in lets say a pack of mushrooms without the machine noticing :-) Of course, I did not go through with it... but most of the time, it does seem to relate the two quite well.
