Years and years ago, I wrote a simple transition recorder to run on my Cromemco CP/M system. This program watched the parallel port (set for 8 bit input) for any change, then recorded the new change. On stopping the program, it dumped all the recorded 8 bit values to paper so I could watch various data and clock lines. I used this to reverse engineer the Commodore serial bus so my product could talk to their disk drives. So, today I'm trying to debug some SPI stuff and could really use a deep recording of the transitions on /CS, MISO, MOSI, and SCLK. Before I again write another transition recorder, does anyone have one they'd like to share? THANKS!!!!
