Hi all,

A belated thanks to all who responded to my question about an encoder
losing counts. I tried replacing the encoder and I got the same
asymmetrical rise/fall times. However, the problem seems to have gone
away. I am going to use logic with hysteresis as suggested and if I get
more time, I will try to track down the original cause.
