I did mention in my first email that a transceiver was what I needed, although
I didn't specify IrDA. Nonetheless, I do need something that can both send and
receive. And my logic (responding to your previous email) is that if I can't
find what I am looking for in through-hole, does that not mean that I now have
to use some sort of non-through-hole packaging? Those seem to be my only
options, so I'm not sure where the confusion lies in that logic. Nonetheless, I
will give SMT a try.
