No, Jai, as Olin pointed out these devices are large 3 pin ones, with the form factor roughly that of a TO220 package. You can even plug them into a breadboard; you will have absolutely no difficulties (the kind one associates with SMDs) soldering them. If you can solder a 3 pin TO220 voltage regulator, you could solder these as well.
