Philips SPI-bus controller, maximum clock rate is (IIRC) 5MHz. I've had one displaying graphics, now I'm moving onto text. That's going to be fun - I bet about half of my PIC's program memory is going to be eaten by the character lookup tables. Has anyone done this sort of thing before? I still need to find a PIC with about 1k of RAM...
