xwisp (the PC software for Wisp628 and WLoader) can read a hex file,
patch one or more locations, and write it back to the same or to a
different file. So You could use it to bolt the feature on to any other
programming software that does not support it.

In fact you could easlily code it in Python, using the hex file class
from xwisp.py.
