Ham Radio..good hobby for learning RF...learnt everything I know about RF
that way by building home brew rigs in the garage.

I have searched Google for some RF tutorials, and what I have come across
doesn't really help me out too much. Basically, at this point, I would be
satisfied if I could just send a signal across my room.. nothing long range

anything. One of my courses currently involves RLC circuit analysis, so I
thought it would be a good idea to complement the course by actually doing
