I was just going to buy an assortment of aprox 25 X2 suppression caps in about 5 diff values from Farnell (not a "kit") for prototyping. Now, Rapid has a 250V cap set with 110 caps that costs *less* then these 25 caps from Farnell. (The Rapid caps are not specificaly X2 rated, but I'd guess would work OK for prototyping, right ?) I can always switch to X2 rated caps later, I'd guess. (And the UK VAT is 17%, and in Sweden 25%) I must just check if Rapid is on level with Farnell when it comes to p&p to Sweden. Farnell charges aprox 4 UKP (+ 25% VAT) for over-night shippment from the UK to my door-step in Sweden. Not bad. Jan-Erik.
