Just for the record... I am NOT being paid by anyone to bash anything. =
And as I said before, I really do support open source. Look at =
piclist.com for pete sake! Don't I do enough to promote open source?

If you want to find fault, look at my ego rather than my wallet: I don't =
understand how I could have had so many failures with *nix (even boxes I =
didn't admin) and so few failures with NT if the only difference was my =
brain as compaired to other, smarter, people who swear that the opposite =
is true. I want to believe that it is something other than lack of sense =
on my part that makes NT work better for me.

And finally, Bob, I don't like being accused of things like that. =
Especially not on a public list. That IS getting personal and I really =
would advise you to control yourself.

Oh, and I restarted the SQL server a bit ago so that I could install a =
new UPS on it. I think the old one may have been failing, I kept hearing =
the fan speed go up and down, and since the I put in the new one, it has =
been constant.
