Howard, > In Eagle, creating a symbol - how does one have more than one VDD or > VSS > pin? I see in the library for the 16F877 that one is VDD@1 but it shows > only the VDD? I came across this problem on a PIC project the other day. I was using a PIC16C745 - I think it was. I was in a hurry to get the schematic out, so I just called them VDD1 and VDD2. But I think you have just jump started the old memory. Perhaps the @1 is just for this purpose. Providing a unique pin name for each pin - yet displaying them both as VDD. Have you tried having two VDD pins - one called VDD@1 and one called VDD@2? I think you might have answered your own question. I am going to try it a little later today.
