More to the point, you can't erase OTP parts at all... OTP = One Time Programmable. It's an EPROM part with no window for erasing. EEPROM (JW parts): Quartz window, can be erased and re-programmed, just DON'T SET CODE PROTECTION. Expensive, usually only used for development. OTP parts: Same as EEPROM, but all plastic with no window for erasing. Usually used for production or other "permanent" uses.
