I have been having trouble with GPIO port 2 on a 12C508.

The data sheet indicates that this is a bi-directional port, but for the life of me, I have never been able to get it to work as an output!

I always use the internal RC oscillator when using this chip.

I have, of course set it as an output in GPIO.  Am I missing a switch somewhere?  Is there another bit to set to get get this port to work as an output?

Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
