I recently bumped into the BASIC87x interpreter of Myke Predko.
Very good (in my eyes) to learn the first principles of PICs.
You get results in a few seconds without any programmer or powersupply..

After my program reached about 10 lines, I couldn't control the program
anymore, because of it's single line control through hyperterminal. So I
decided to write a somewhat more intelligent terminal program.
Sorry it's only for M$ systems ;-(

If you like to try the program, you can find it here (350 kB), just
unzip everything in one directory and start the executable.

I've a few more ideas for the terminal: registers by name and code snippets insertion, through templates and/or macro definitions.
But first I'm going to implement the the terminal as a device in my simulator.
