I have built a Propic 2 compliant Programmer located at: =
www.geocities.com/mpu51/ with Propic XP software I tried to program a =
16F84 and later a 16F877A to test the programmer. It reads but it cant =
program. I have verified the Vpp programming voltages. All passed. I =
just could not understand why
it fails to program. I also observe that during programming phase LM7805 =
and the switch mode Power supply IC get overheated. After programming =
phase they get cooler... Is it normal?
Can anybody help me with this? I have to make it run because I am a =
student and to complete my project I need this programmer
