Sounds like a project I built a few years ago.
I wanted an extruded aluminum case of about the
same dimensions on a VERY tight budget.

I went to the local hardware store and bought a
"Door Extender" designed to slip over the bottom
lip of a door and extend it as far as the floor.

By cutting two lengths and connecting them top
to top, I had a sweet little case for my project.

Downside was attaching the two pieces, as a MIG
welder wasn't available (I used hardware inside=20
the case instead). Also no PC mounting rails inside.

On the bright side, I used the rubber strip that
came with it as a "surround" for the finished case.
Of course it fit perfectly in the grooves.

If you can find one for a 2" thick door, the rest may
be do-able.

I wish I had a picture of that to show you, it
really came out pretty nice.
