Mary Leisure runs the US office of Cadint and she moved to Colorado just a few weeks ago. Their offices really did used to be in Sunnyvale, CA - my partner visited them there several years ago while on holidays. Back in those days, they were known as Visionics and the CAD software was known as EE Designer. I'll have to check - I think their US tech support people are still in California. But North American sales are handled by Mary and she now lives in Colorado. >Yet another wannabe ... ;-) Nope - not even remotely accurate. Their software (Cadint) is better than *anything* that I've had my hands on - it blows the socks off Protel, Tango, Orcad and just about every other package that I've evaluated or seen demo'd. The only package I've seen that was better was a demo put on by Racal and GE many years back. But that was US $100K and *way* out of my league. One of the many things I like about Cadint is that they import all of my old EE Designer files. It really is no problem to grab a board originally designed 10 years ago and make changes to it. Most of our clients are industrial outfits - they expect to be able to receive support on products 10 or 15 years old. One final thing to note about Cadint: the software is now all written in Sweden.
