Could anybody estimate the stupidity level of the idea of designing PCB with Corel? I have access to a computer with legal Corel 11, I messed with it a bit and what I've found: Corel - has layers; - can draw various elements, that could be grouped; - elements could be snapped to grid; - has VBA, you can store anything in a normal database (even SQL server), manipulate it as you need and then draw with Corel; If the idea with Corel happened to be workable, Corel could be changed to plain VB application with DirectX. Thanks in advance.
