Wow, two for two in the "getting paid to post to the piclist?" department.

If everyone responded to each message for which they had no idea, this
list would be BUSY!

Protocole is the correct spelling in some languages. Sort of the way
"colour" is a correct spelling in many places. It'd be one thing to
suggest to someone they say "power supply" instead of "alimentation de
puissance", but in this case it's just a regional difference in spelling,
not likely to lead to lack of understanding. I have better things to do
than reply to messages like this, and I'm sure you do too.

Of course by now even you know something about the HART protocol, and
perhaps a little French as well.
