I'd have thought it only applied to items in their catalogue that Taylec
seem to have exclusive rights to rather than the custom PCB's themselves.
They've lost my business in the future now anyway (call me pedantic but
thats how it works with me).

It looks like I can build my own Picstart Clone for less than 50ukp (need to
find someone in the uk though that can burn me a 17C44 ;-)

Any volunteers ?
