I think I'm going to end up just building a light box. I did negative photoresist in college and it wasn't at all difficult; we'll see how the toner transfer stuff works, as I have a few boards to do in the near future. I put together an etching tank with heater and bubbler for $20, and that was just buying the cheapest stuff I could find around town. I think I could do better if I tried, but hey, that wasn't my money. I'd like to try making a mask with my inkjet; it makes pretty good images. I don't think I could do a negative unless it has a LOT of ground plane, but Digikey mainly sells positive boards anyway.
