Just so you know...

I use a seperate mail account for the piclist, and only recently have
been getting 1-2 spam per week on it.  The newsgroup account has been on
Google for quite some time, but IIRC they employ some decent methods to
protect from email mining.

I'm fairly certian the spam is from my using this address in another
area briefly a few weeks ago, I doubt the piclist is the reason.
