Not much different from small LED displays except that very large digits
often use series LED strings, so you have to deal with higher voltages,
at least on the high side drivers. What exactly is your problem? If you
expect to find a controller that directly drives a higher voltage display,
I think you're out of luck, but you could add-on to existing $controller$,
or use a PIC. I'd suggest the latter, of course.
