In my ongoing quest to solve this problem I did the next logical debuggin= g=20 step -- I spent the last 2-ish hrs moving the circuit from breadboard (ye= p,=20 that's how I used it for ages) to PCB. I'm rather pleased with the layou= t=20 (Eagle, of course) and size (approx 2" x 1.5"), and my PCB handiwork. But alas, it wasn't to happen tonight, as I don't have any 78L12's on han= d, so=20 I'll have to get one tomorrow. I'll be back! -Neil.
