Yeah was aware of that. Was using the doc files in the process of trying to
chase this down.

The only reason I am running it on the laptop is the slow speed & limited
memory. Otherwise it would be W2k.

I started off thinking it may have been MPLAB 5.70.40 as this was the first
time I had used this (tried 5.70.00 some time back on a W2k machine but went
back to 5.6 something because of problems). It seems to be just some strange
combination.
