I need to replace a surface-mount part due to mechanical damage to t= he=20 old one. It's on the processor board in a notebook computer. Markings on = the=20 itsby-bitsy little broken part (lead broken off) are "33-6" (above) and "= KN"=20 (below) with a "2" inside a circle with a line headed northwest next to t= he=20 "KN." There's a stripe down the left side. On the board, the position is=20 marked "C33" and one connection is marked "+". The part is approximately=20 2x2x3 mm (maybe less). Here's a graphic: +------------------+ | I | | I 33 - 6 | | I KN (2) | | I | +------------------+ I'm guessing this is a 33 ufd tantalum capacitor, probably 6v. Agree? --=20 Ed Skinner, ed@flat5.net, http://www.flat5.net/ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways. See http://www.piclist.com/#archives for details.
