code is not required, try CH Basic Bronze Edition (Lite and Demo) or the CH
Basic Flash, you can download it at www.celestialhorizons.com it4s easy to
work with. License price is moderate. BUT TRY TO LEARN ASSEMBLER !

Hi Guys



I am very new in the PIC business. I am keen to get of the ground with
it. I am particularly interested in home automation and robotics.



My question is: I am interested in writing my own code for the Pic, I
don't know Assembler and see that there are Basic compilers available
for the Pic. I have my own programmer and software; just need the Basic
editor and compiler. I have looked at the Crownhill Associates, written
by Les Johnson. It looks great.



I want to invest only in one product, and can't really find a web site
that rates the different packages features, price and usability. Can
anyone out there point me in the right direction, recommend something?
