If it comes back again make sure you use a felt pen to block out any bar
code used by the automatic sorting machines. Have had that happen here in
the UK and the letter was lodged in a bunch the mailman just stuck through
the letter box without looking :))

Also have come across letters where the autosort machine seems to have
machine read the typed address, as it looked like it used one of the OCR
fonts, and there was no faint pink barcode on the envelope. It also
disappeared after I messed up the address with a felt pen, so it had to go
to a person who actually read my "return to sender ..." on it.
