I home never used, held nor seen a GPS device, so do feel well qualified to give advice (the facts won't get in my way). First, take some time to get the average location of a known point using the GSP. Like the corner of your computer desk. Then before starting on your fishing trip. take reading of this known point to see what offset is at that time. Add the offset to your reading at the fishing spot. If you have a stay at home friend, have home do same and call him up to get his offset when you reach fishing hole.
