I have been submerged in spam lately, and i have a new (?) idea about it. How about subscribing return addresses from spam senders to every *other* spamlist possible ? "real spam" tends to have return addresses that are 1) disposable, 2) probably not real, and 3) may be innocent bystanders if they are real. I'm not even sure how they're supposed to be using these to verify which address are "real", since a few time i've tried to trace things down the hostname hasn't even resolved... Sigh. "semi-targetted spam", where the return address is real and they are looking for an actual response, but had no real business emailing you in the first place, is a different matter. Such people should probably be discouraged, but what you're contemplating is probably a bit strong. In any case, the volume of this sort of thing seems to be so much less than 'real spam' that it's not worth much effort, anyway.
