You can use the germicidal uvlamps they are the same as eraseing lamps.. = I think the lamp you are talking about is a growlux and is different.. = Try it sunlight also works.. There may be enough UV in the growlux spectrum to = sort Eproms.. Steve.. .. .. .. Hi all, I have some eproms I need to use, but don't currently have an eraser - = has anyone tried placing a set of windowed eproms under a fishtank UV light = to try to erase them? I know that normal erasers use a different intensity = of UV, but I also know that exposed window eproms can get erased in = sunlight after a period of time, I just don't know if I can do it with what I've = got. -Tony -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different = ways.
