Start at http://www.piclist.com. Hit the Beginners Checklist. There're
links for some programmers. Read everything. Keep reading. Don't take side
paths that distract you and prevent backtracking and cause you to get
lost. :) PIC is one of the most heavily supported hardware topics on the
net. It's -all- out there. Keep looking and you will eventually find
somethig that explains things in a way you can understand.
