:P  I just read this today (left for WI just after writing my email
out) -rofl, I guess I did just re-invent the wheel, but hey - he asked about
using a parallel eprom chip :P

Besides, re-inventing the wheel is fun :) especially when it takes more
lines then just a standard serial eprom :D
