I had not even thought to look at the manufacturer's website. For some reason, I thought regular retail battery manufacturers didn't publish specs. Sure they do, although it seems to be be pretty uncommon to rate primary batteries in anything so simple as AH. (I'm impressed that Energizer had this. Neither Duracell nor panasonic did it on their data sheets.) Why don't they put it on the freakin' package? Cause the average consumer doesn't care, and the issues get complex. For instance, the ~600mAH that people were quoting was for discharge to .8V per cell, or 4.8V for the "9V" battery. If your circuit involves a 5V regulator and needs 5V, it's going to quit well before then! BillW -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
