Can I change any of the standard registers in MPLAB's debug mode.
I tried my best to find it out myself but...
I think this facility will help simulate (especially) port input pins and
accordingly find the behaviour of the software being in the phases of
development and testing.

I have been developing desktop applications. Now I am trying to switch to
microcontroller with very little knowhow.
I hope I am not increasing the noise on this list.
