Get an ICD2? This to be used for in-house ICSP programming, and has the
advantage of being able to debug on 16F87x and 18F (along with some special
versions of the smaller newer 16F chips) when doing development, a
requirement that should not be needed in the field. Then the PS+ can be kept
as a field programmer.
