Just 'crush' one, there is probably a PCB like thingy inside, from which you can find the common and segment pins. Now you only have to try for CC or CA. And anyway, even without looking inside trial-and-error takes only a minute or two. Just done that on a 3.5 digit display in 5 minutes.
